RACHEL AND NICOLAS
A chalet set in an enchanting environment!
Each house has its own story. When Nicolas and Rachel contacted us, their old chalet had unfortunately gone up in smoke a few months earlier. It was therefore a question of overcoming this ordeal and making it evolve into something new.
It was a pleasure to work as a team to make this enchanting land a place of fun and relaxation once more.
The land available to put the home was very limited and constrained by various elements related to the old chalet. In a construction project, taking into account all of the issues makes all the difference.
The home has a contemporary design and the flat roof accommodates a terrace where the owners can enjoy the view of the lake.

Emphasis was also placed on using quality healthy building materials to minimize maintenance. This was done while respecting the budget allocated by the owners as this was an unforeseen expense.
The screened-in area doubles the size of the living room and is perfect to sit and enjoy the abundant light. On the garden level, the spaces have been designed to facilitate the comings and goings of these outdoor enthusiasts! The ground floor accommodates the different living areas and the master bedroom. This project was carried out jointly with Rachel and Nicolas, who wanted to complete the interior finishes themselves.
