  • A house designed for a better quality of life and consistency.

This ecological home is located in St-Placide, in the Laurentians.

Its owners, Nadine and Alexandre, lived in Montreal and started an organic farm project on this land.

The house reflects their values: an ecological habitat, anchored in its environment, designed for their family, and providing light and a better quality of life.

The construction had little impact on the land. Which is important as this is an ecological home! Space was optimized in order to reduce the size, while still remaining comfortable, and therefore reducing the ecological footprint of this new construction.

The house has two bedrooms: the master bedroom and a very large kid’s bedroom, designed to be able to be split into two equally sized bedrooms when the children grow up. Planning for the long term and giving yourself flexibility allows you to better adapt to your growing needs.

Nadine and Alexandre wanted a home with a traditional and country feel, while having a timeless and sustainable design. Mission accomplished with this bioclimatic home that blends in perfectly with the surrounding landscape and is bathed in light making it welcoming and very functional.
